Who Am I?

Ultimately, we are all just a story. What story am I in your life? 🙂

I am a life coach, organisational development (OD) consultant, and Yogapreneur. I’m passionate about life and loves to explore and experience its beauty and rhythm in the here and now.

Professionally, I transitioned from a successful career in digital marketing, working with companies like Google and Amazon, to become a life and executive coach, OD consultant, and yoga trainer. I love working with individuals and organisations in enabling them to be the best that they can be.

Professional Background

Life Coach & OD Consultant

I’m trained in life coaching and OD by TAO Leadership Academy (TAO LA), Bangalore, India. TAO LA’s training is in alignment with the standards recommended by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).

I engage in coaching conversations with individuals who wish to explore any pattern in their life and tap into their inherent potential to be the best version of themselves. I take both online and in-person coaching sessions.

I’m part of the Ritambhara Gharana of coaching and I’m part of faculty of coaches in Quinnergy and TAO LA. As part of the TAO and Quinnergy team, I work with corporate teams in enabling organisational and individual transformation.

Yogapreneur

I’m an international yoga trainer (RYT 500) with a wealth of experience in learning yoga in its most authentic and holistic form from legendary teachers in the tradition of Sri T Krishnamacharya. I teache one-to-one personalised yoga classes online for students across India and abroad.

I completed a two years yoga teacher training program from YogaVahini under the guidance of Smt. Saraswathi Vasudevan, disciple of Sri TKV Desikachar. I’m also trained in Vinyasa Krama Yoga by the renowned Sri Srivatsa Ramaswamy, longest standing disciple of Sri T Krishnamacharya and is known world over as teacher of teachers. I’m a student of Yoga Sutras and Inner Work Through Yoga under Sri Raghu Ananthanarayanan, a disciple of Sri T Krishmacharya for over 10 years. I’ve also learnt from Sri R Sriram based in Germany, a long time of student of Sri TKV Desikachar and internationally renowned for his application of yoga in therapy. In 2019, I completed a two years course in Healing Chants (from Krishna Yajur Veda) from Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM) which focus on integrating these chants into personalised yoga practices. Currently, I’m pursuing a three years international certification in Yoga Therapy under the guidance of Smt. Saraswati Vasudevan (YogaVahini).

I founded Yogaśāla in 2017 as a location-independent yoga venture to travel and create spaces for ‘Yoga On The Go’. Yogaśāla captures the essence and spirit of my passion for travel, yoga, adventure, and fun.  The idea of Yogaśāla is rooted in the firm belief that each individual is unique in their physical and mental composition. This means the yoga practice need to adapt to the unique needs and capabilities of an individual to enable them to awaken their true potential or to heal. This is unlike a run-of-the-mill Yoga Studio where a general yoga template is applied for the entire group.

I love to work on co-creating unique workshops that combine yoga with other disciplines and arts. Some such programs are Rāga Yoga (music and yoga), Buddha Bowl (mindful cooking and healing chants), Minna Minni (Yoga through storytelling), and Drishyam (Yoga through photography).

As part of the Yoga Trails initiative of Yogaśāla, I have organised regular yoga retreats across India and abroad. I also collaborate with other yoga trainers and organisations to create these retreats and workshops. Since the inception of the idea of Yogasala, I’ve organised yoga retreats and workshops in the following places:

  • Istanbul, Turkey
  • Paro, Bhutan
  • Hyderabad, Telangana
  • Bangalore, Karnataka
  • Gulmarg, Kashmir
  • Chirrapunji, Meghalaya
  • Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, Uttarakhand
  • Uttar Kashi, Uttarakhand
  • Cochin, Kerala
  • Kotagiri, Tamil Nadu
  • Hampi, Karnataka
  • Agartala, Tripura
  • Guwahati, Assam
  • Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan
  • Raipur, Chattisgarh

Digital Nomad

I founded Digital Nomad in 2019 as a digital venture offering digital marketing consulting and training services to businesses and professionals. Digital Nomad focus on delivering top notch digital marketing trainings and consulting services to help businesses strategise and streamline their digital marketing initiatives.

I had started my career working with Google India Pvt. Ltd. in 2007 in Hyderabad as a digital marketing professional. Over the years I’ve worked with few startups and companies like Accenture and Amazon in this field. I have extensive experience in designing and delivering digital marketing trainings for MBA students, professionals and marketing teams of companies and I’m a lead trainer for SEM, SMM and ORM training programs for Digital Vidya since 2016.

In a way, I chose to be a digital nomad before it became the norm following COVID pandemic in 2020. 🙂 I use the online medium to empower professionals and organisations digitally.

Tarot Reader

I stumbled upon tarot cards accidentally through a friend and has been fascinated by it ever since. I explored my interest in guidance cards by getting self-trained in Angel Card reading, and subsequently getting professionally trained in Oracle Cards and Tarot cards by other professional readers.

What started off as a hobby to entertain close friends, family and my yoga retreat participants turned into professional consulting as more people started requesting for tarot sessions.

In 2017, I founded Tarot Dojo and started taking professional tarot reading sessions during his free time. He has also been part of many tarot events in Hyderabad, India.

Story Teller

I loved listening to stories like most kids when he was a child. I continue to love the impact of a well told story on an individual and pursue the path of storytelling to explore the potential of stories. In 2017, I got trained in storytelling by the renowned international story teller Deepa Kiran (Founder – Story Arts India).

Since then I’ve has been engaging in story telling sessions for kids and adults. I love stories from Indian epics and mythology. I attempt to bring the ancient alive to the audience by bringing in a touch of contemporariness to each story that I narrates. I see story telling as a means for the individual to connect Inside-Out from within to the world around them, just as yoga is a means for the individual to connect Outside-In from the world outside to the Self within.

I’ve collaborated with Deepa Kiran to co-create a unique program ‘Minna Minni’ introducing each element of yoga through stories for kids and adults.

I’m also working with some educational institutions in creating curriculums for schools where stories can be used as a medium of self-reflection and contemplation.
